Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted in Front of Her Home

Victim told police suspect grabbed and fondled her.

A 33-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted in front of her house Tuesday night in Middle River.

According to police reports, the woman was sitting outside her home at about 11:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Maplecrest Drive when a silver Dodge pick-up truck stopped in front of the residence.

The man asked the victim if her neighbors were home, the report stated. After that, the suspect approached the woman, grabbed her breasts and lifted her on the sidewalk, the woman told police.

Despite pleas from the victim to stop, the suspect continued grabbing her breasts and buttocks before eventually pushing her against her house.

The suspect then placed his hands down the victim's pants before finally getting back into his vehicle. He was last seen driving toward Compass Road.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between the ages of 20 and 30, 5-foot-11 and 150 pounds, the woman told police. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue and white plaid shorts.

This is the second incident in the last two weeks involving a sexual assault in the Essex-Middle River area. A 35-year-old woman reported June 10 that a man entered her house on the 900 block of Punjab Drive and tried to sexually assault her.

No arrests have been made in either case and police said it is too soon to link the crimes together.
