18-Wheeler Hauling TVs Crashes, Overturns In Gaithersburg
An 18-wheeler tractor-trailer carrying televisions overturned in Gaithersburg Wednesday night. Expect delays Thursday morning.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — An 18-wheeler tractor-trailer carrying televisions overturned in Gaithersburg, closing the ramp from westbound I-370 to I-270 south Wednesday night.
The accident occurred at about 10:15 p.m. on I370, going west between Route 355 and I370.
The tractor trailer went off the road into bushes and TVs were scattered across the ramp, officials said.

The ramp remains closed Thursday morning. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
The crash injured one person who is expected to be OK, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

HAZMAT and the Maryland State Police also responded to the scene.
