Gaithersburg Arts Barn Putting On 'Frozen Jr.' This April

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Disney favorite "Frozen" will come to life in Montgomery County in play form at "Arts on the Green" at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn, the city said.

"Frozen Jr." from the Kensington Arts Theatre-2nd Stage will run April 1 to 10, with performances on Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Sundays at 1 and 3 p.m. There will be one Friday show at 7:30 p.m. April 1.

"A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen Jr. takes you on a journey with Princesses Anna and Elsa," the city said in a news release. "When faced with obstacles, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart."

Performers are between the ages of 10 and 17. Tickets are $15.
