GAITHERSBURG, MD — A man riding a motorcycle died after he collided with a car at an intersection at Crabbs Branch Way in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County Police said.Police identified the man as Michael Barchuk, 55, of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.The incident occurred at about 1:35 p.m. Friday at Shady Grove Road at Crabbs Branch Way. Police said Barchuk was driving a 2008 Suzuki 650 motorcycle south on Shady Grove Road. Eddie Johnson, 30, of Silver Spring was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer north on Shady Grove Road. Johnson was trying to make a left turn onto Crabbs Branch Way when Barchuk collided with him in the intersection, police said.
