Man Found Dead In Gaithersburg, Police Investigating As Homicide

Montgomery County police said the man's body was found Friday night.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County police have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead in Gaithersburg.

According to police, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services were dispatched to the 23600 block of Rolling Fork Way around 7:20 p.m. Friday for a report of a person down.

When responders arrived, they found a man's body in a parking lot. Police were called to the scene and the man was pronounced dead.

Montgomery County detectives responded and are investigating the death as a homicide, police said.

At this time, no suspect is in custody and no suspect information is available.

The man's body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. Police will release his name following notification of family.
