Mathnasium Of Gaithersburg Invites Community To National Pi Day Event

Mathnasium of Gaithersburg will be celebrating National Pi Day on March 14 in partnership with Montgomery County Councilmember Will Jawando.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Mathnasium of Gaithersburg will be celebrating National Pi Day on March 14 in partnership with Montgomery County Councilmember Will Jawando.

Elementary and middle school students, together with their families, are invited to the free event, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. They will get a chance to enjoy a night of math games and activities to learn more about Pi.

“Celebrated by Math Enthusiasts worldwide, every year Pi Day is one of the many ways math can be fun,” Mathnasium said.

Each year, the Montgomery County Council celebrates National Pi Day and encourages residents
to support opportunities to develop math and science skills. Jawando will attend the Gaithersburg event and share the county's National Pi Day proclamation.

The Gaithersburg event will take place at Goshen Plaza, 9132 Rothbury Drive in Gaithersburg. Pizza pies and dessert pies will be offered to attendees. Interested families can RSVP via Google form for the event in Gaithersburg.

In addition to the Gaithersburg event, Mathnasium Learning Centers in Germantown, Potomac, North Potomac and Rockville will be hosting Pi Day celebrations. Families that live near these locations can also RSVP via Google form.
