MCFR Fights Fire Thursday In Gaithersburg Home
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue officials were dispatched to a home on Cedar Avenue.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue officials were dispatched to a Gaithersburg home Thursday afternoon for the report of smoke coming from the roof, an MCFR spokesperson told Patch.
Units were called to the home in Cedar Avenue's 200 block at 12:30 p.m., MCFR spokesperson Beth Anne Nesselt said.
The homeowner was outside when firefighters arrived, Nesselt said.
