GAITHERSBURG, MD — The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Gaithersburg man. Leonard Sweeney, 29, was last seen leaving his Christopher Avenue home around 11 p.m. on Sunday. Investigators describe Sweeney as a 5-foot-10, 170-pound male with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a camo-print jacket and black pants, police said. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call the police's 24-hour, non-emergency number: 301-279-8000.
