Montgomery County Police: Aggravated Assault Reported at Giant Food, Sex Assault Near Shady Grove Metro

An aggravated assault occurred at Giant Food, 842 Muddy Branch Road in Gaithersburg at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3:20 p.m. Police said the people involved knew each other.

A sex assault occurred near the Shady Grove Metro, 15903 Somerville Drive in Rockville on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6:02 p.m. The suspect inappropriately touched the victim. Police said are looking for a white male who was last seen wearing a bus driver’s uniform and may have left on a Ride-On bus. Police are looking for a heavy set man between 40 and 50 years-old, between  5-feet, 2-inches and 5-feet, 4-inches tall, who speaks Spanish and English.

A residential burglary occurred in the hundred block of Bralan Court in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 4:13 p.m. Unknown entry; property taken.

An aggravated assault occurred at the Motel 6, 497 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6:40 a.m. Arrested: Male, 34, from Gaithersburg.

A commercial burglary occurred at Watkins Beer and Wine, 857 Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 5:43 a.m.

A commercial burglary occurred at Design Glass and Mirrors, 18761 North Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg between 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12 and 6 6:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13. Forced entry; property taken.  

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 17600 block of Lindstrom Court in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken. 

A residential burglary occurred in the 19900 block of Ivoryton Place in Gaithersburg on Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 2:43 p.m. Unknown entry; unknown what was taken.

A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Trento Court in Gaithersburg on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 12:18 p.m. Forced entry; unknown what was taken.

There were three vehicle-related thefts in Gaithersburg. Tools were taken from two work vehicles in the 18000 block of Premiere Court on Thursday night, Dec. 12. Sunglasses were taken from a vehicle on Shady Spring Place, Sunday night Dec. 15.
