• Holiday task force makes 147 DUI arrests (mymcmedia.org) — Gaithersburg officers are part of a countywide Holiday Task Force that has already made 147 DUI arrests since Thanksgiving and will keep patrolling through the second week of January. With more than 1,300 traffic stops and extra enforcement planned around major events, police are urging residents to plan sober rides and keep impaired drivers off local roads.
