- : President Obama paid a visit to Bethesda’s National Naval Medical Center Wednesday afternoon. According to AP reports, he visited with medical center staff and 22 wounded service members and their families in a visit that lasted over an hour. While there, he awarded six Purple Hearts, according to the report. The visit was closed to the press.
