Police's Recovered Vehicle Auction Returns To Montgomery County
The Montgomery County Police Department's auction for abandoned and seized vehicles will be returning later this month, with restrictions.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County police's monthly auction for abandoned and seized vehicles will be returning later this month, with restrictions.
The July 18 auction will be restricted to 50 attendees to ensure social distancing.
Those who register for the event are more likely to be admitted. Registered auction-goers who present a ticket by 8:45 a.m. on July 18 will be prioritized over other individuals. Doors open at 9 a.m.

Interested buyers are encouraged to call or email the police's Vehicle Recovery Section (VRS) to see if the capacity limit has been met. If so, authorities ask that unregistered auction-goers do not show up at the event.
