Recovered Vehicle Auction In Montgomery County Set For Dec. 19
The Montgomery County Police Department's auction for abandoned and seized vehicles is scheduled for Dec. 19. Registration is encouraged.
GAITHERSBURG, MD — Montgomery County police's next monthly auction for abandoned and seized vehicles will be held on Dec. 19.
The auction, which starts at 9 a.m., will be restricted to 25 attendees to ensure social distancing.
Those who register for the event are more likely to be admitted. Registered auction-goers who present a ticket by 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 19 will be prioritized over other individuals. Doors open at 7 a.m.

Interested buyers are encouraged to call or email the police's Vehicle Recovery Section (VRS) to see if the capacity limit has been met. If so, authorities ask that unregistered auction-goers do not show up at the event.
