Spring Blooms in Art

In seasoned artist, Vian Borchert's cherry blossom artworks, Borchert invites the viewers to experience the delicate balance between life's impermanence and the enduring beauty of nature, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the world around us.

Borchert who is known for her expressive artwork by which she defines as "visual poems" aims through her work to evoke emotions and foster a meditative experience. This is what the viewers can experience upon viewing the current "IN BLOOM" solo art exhibition which is currently taking place at the Framer's Choice Gallery on Main Street in the heart of the hip neighborhood of Kentlands, Gaithersburg.

The exhibit showcases around 20 paintings ranging from varying sizes all executed by Borchert's expert painterly and impressionistic touch. The paintings available at the gallery embody Borchert abstracted take on the landscape theme and its variations from cascading blossoms over water to sunrises that glorify the first morning light. A RECEPTION & Meet the Artist is scheduled for Saturday May 24 from 3 - 5 PM (Free & Open to the public). The gallery is located at: 402 Main St. Gaithersburg, MD 20878 - Gallery Hours: Monday - Saturday, 10AM -3PM. The "In Bloom" exhibition is ongoing and remains till May 31.

In Vian's artistic journey, the artist emphasizes the importance of nature as a sanctuary for introspection and inner-reflection. About the Artist:

Vian Borchert is a renowned artist, and art educator of many years. Borchert exhibits her artwork both locally within the DC area and internationally. The accomplished artist who has been recently awarded in NYC, the International Prize "The New Great Masters in New York" has exhibited her paintings in over 100 shows worldwide in prestigious museums and venues such as the Carousel Du Louvre in the Louvre museum in Paris, along with museums in Spain and key galleries in NYC, LA, London and Rome. Borchert has been vastly covered in the press in over 100 publications such as the Washington Post, World Art News and more. She teaches fine art classes to adults at the historic "Arts Club of Washington" in DC and in Glen Echo Park's Yellow Barn Studio.
