Teen Found Dead In Elementary School Parking Lot In Gaithersburg
BREAKING NEWS: Police are investigating the death of a 17-year-old male who was found dead in a parking lot of a Gaithersburg school.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Police are investigating the death of a Gaithersburg teen who was found dead in the parking lot of an elementary school in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County Police said in a statement.
The unidentified 17-year-old was found in the parking lot of South Lake Elementary School at 18201 Contour Rd. at about 2:14 p.m. Friday.
Police are not identifying the victim due to his age. His family has been notified.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to the male’s body, police said. The body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
"Further investigation is necessary but at this time, foul play is not suspected in this male’s death," the police statement said.

School staff saw the boy walking on school property at about noon on Friday, police said. School personnel have also seen him on previous occasions playing basketball at the school.
