Thai Dining Comes To Quince Orchard Plaza

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Hommali Thai Dining will open on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 614 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg's Quince Orchard Plaza.

The soft opening of the 1,893-square foot Thai restaurant was held Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 12 and 13.

During the grand opening, Hommali will offer a 20 percent discount for dine-in customers for one full week, and an additional 10 percent discount for the next visit.

According to a news release, Hommali is a Thai phrase that translates to "Thai Jasmine Rice." The name refers to the rice's color, which is as white as the jasmine flower. The word "hom" means fragrance, and "mali" means jasmine.

  • Ribeye Crying Tiger: Slices of grilled rib eye steak, garden salad with chili lime sauce.
  • Thai-style Beef Tartare (Koi Nua): Chopped raw beef mixed with red onion, scallion, cilantro, roasted rice powder, chili lime dressing, topped with soy-cured egg yolk.
  • Grilled Steak Khao Soi: Slices of grilled steak, egg noodle, red onion, pickled cabbage, in yellow curry topped with crunchy egg noddle.

Hommali Thai Dining will be available for dine-in and carry-out. Catering is also available.

Operating hours are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • Friday: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Hommali Thai Dining joins ALDI, HomeGoods, L.A. Fitness, Walgreens, Beers and Cheera Too, Taco Bamba and more businesses in that shopping district.
