Thieves Steal $30,000 In Copper Wire [VIDEO]: Police​

Crime Solvers will pay up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the men suspected of stealing copper wire in Gaithersburg.

GAITHERSBURG, MD — Police in Montgomery County are asking for the public's help identifying four men suspected of stealing $30,000 worth of copper wire in Gaithersburg.

The burglary happened on Sept. 3 at an office building in the 9900 block of Medical Center Drive. Surveillance cameras spotted unknown suspects forcing their way into the building and stealing some $30,000 in copper wire. Four suspects were seen in camera footage.

Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspects to call the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment of the suspects. Tipsters will remain anonymous.
