MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A former Montgomery County Public Schools student made threats toward the district online, but police determined they are not credible.

The former student doesn't live in the United States anymore, Montgomery County Police said in a tweet. The district said it was aware of the threats made and asked in a Tweet that nobody share them online.

MCPS and police did not share what the threat was or if certain schools in particular were targeted in them.
