Woman's Body Found In Burning Car In Germantown Woods
A woman's body was found in a burning car in a wooded area of Germantown early Wednesday morning, police said.

(Updated at 7 p.m. Thursday): GERMANTOWN, MD — A woman was found dead in a burning car in the woods in Germantown early Wednesday morning, Montgomery County Police report.
Responders received a call for a brush fire in the woods in the 13700 block of Wisteria Dr. near Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School at about 4:22 a.m. Wednesday. Arriving officers found a car on fire and located a deceased person inside of the car, police said.
Police announced Thursday afternoon that investigation determined the decedent is an adult female. The findings of the autopsy—to include the decedent’s identity and manner and cause of death—are pending.
