Students at Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool Donate to Local Community

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Germantown recently held a gift drive to fulfill the holiday wishes of local students at Ronald McNair Elementary School. The donations were the result of a giving tree program, during which students worked together to collect a variety of wish list items, including clothes, shoes, toys and games.

In addition to their gift drive, students also held a food drive for Manna Food Center, which strives to eliminate hunger through food distribution, education and advocacy in Montgomery County. Students also collected gifts for local senior citizens in need. For two weeks, students collected socks, word searches, sudoku and puzzles to help brighten the days of elderly living at senior centers. Through these initiatives, students learned the importance of giving back to the community.
