Police said the 16-year-old girl grabbed a handful of human hair from a box on the floor, causing the co-owner of the business to yell at her when police said the 17-year-old girl punched the co-owner in the face.

Two detectives, who police said happened to be in the parking lot at the time, saw both girls flee the store and get in the car with the other two girls. The detectives followed the car to Baltimore and stopped the girls once the theft was broadcast to police.
