Background/Event:
Along with much of the nation, our community has been deeply impacted by the abuse and misuse of opioid substances such as heroin and prescription pain pills. Thankfully, we are seeing action across the state to address this problem, and one question remains: What can we do as a community to support change?
Join Arundel Christian Church, Maryland House Detox and our celebrated guests and panel of experts to learn of the efforts occurring across Anne Arundel County to heal our communities, and participate in a conversation about how we can move forward.
Special Guests include; David Stup, Founder of Maryland House Detox, Nancy Schrum, Director of Constituent Services for the Office of County Executive Steve Schuh, Special Agent Todd Edwards, Public Information Officer Baltimore Field Office of the DEA, Peter D’Souza, CEO of Hope House of Maryland, Dr. Janak Vidyarthi, CEO of Greater Maryland Pain Management, and Caitlin Hall, Prevention Specialist, Anne Arundel County Department of Health.
