A 57-year-old man suffered serious injuries after an attempted robbery in Brooklyn Park early Thursday, according to Anne Arundel County police. Shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to the Pizza City, in the 5600 block of Belle Grove Road, and found a 57-year-old man who has been assaulted in an attempted robbery. A crew transported the man to University of Maryland Shock Trauma with "serious injuries" from the incident. Police do not yet know whether anything was stolen from the business, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident may contact eastern district detectives at 410-222-6145.
