Nearly three years after being hit by a car,a Bel Air police officer has returned to the job. Officer First Class Hendren reported to work on Thursday in full-time capacity, the Bel Air Police Department said in a statement.
Hendren was directing traffic on Williams and Nichols streets as firefighters responded to a reported kitchen fire on Nov. 20, 2013, when she was hit by a car. She was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center with injuries officials said were serious. >>> Read more.
