Baltimore Man Charged With Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana

Ronnie Burrell Jr. was arrested Wednesday after he fled from his car when being pulled over for a traffic violation in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County Police arrested a Baltimore man Wednesday afternoon after he fled his car when he was pulled over in Glen Burnie for a traffic violation.

Ronnie Burrell Jr., 26, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to a police press release.

Detectives pulled Burrell over at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Quarterfield Road and Landmark Drive and after stopping his car police said he ran away into a nearby area. Officers said while he was running he threw a bag that was later determined to contain more than 100 grams of marijuana. Police chased him on foot and caught him.
