Beltway Ramp to Close This Weekend
Crews will use a special concrete to resurface the offramp at Camp Meade Road this weekend.

State highway crews will close the ramp from the outer loop of Interstate 695 to southbound Camp Meade Road this weekend.
The closure—scheduled from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday—will allow crew to use a polyester-epoxy modified concrete to reconstruct the ramp's surface. The special concrete will allow crews to complete the work during the weekend, as opposed to taking several weeks, according to a press release.
If crews determine the roadwork needs more time, similar closures will occur during the weekend of June 8 to 10.

Motorists who would take the beltway exit should take the exit for northbound Camp Meade Road, then turn right on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and right on Maple Road before continuing southbound on Camp Meade Road. The detour will take two miles, according to officials.
