BGE Working on Delmar Avenue Gas Leak
A gas leak in Glen Burnie has led fire and police officials to set up a one-block "safety zone."

Crews for Baltimore Gas and Electric are actively working to fix a gas leak on Delmar Avenue in Glen Burnie, according to the company.
At approximately 4:16 p.m. Wednesday, a crew—not with BGE—accidentally struck the gas line on the 500 block of Delmar Avenue, according to BGE spokesperson Rachael Lighty.
A BGE crew arrived at 4:44 p.m. and are still in the process of isolating the gas leak, Lighty said. The crew does not yet have an estimated time of restoration.
According to WBAL, fire officials have made a "safety zone" around the block of the leak. Police are redirecting traffic around the area.
