BioMedical Allied Health Magnet Program Information Night Tuesday

Did you grow up hoping to become a family doctor or a surgeon?

Thanks to local medical professionals and Anne Arundel County Public Schools, students at Glen Burnie High School are getting a head start in building backgrounds in healthcare services and medicine.

Parents and students interested in entering the third year of the BioMedical Allied Health Magnet program are encouraged to attend the meeting tonight from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Glen Burnie High School.

The program is accepting applicants finishing eighth grade and heading to high school for the 2013-2014 school year. Last year, 67 students were chosen for the program through lottery of applicants.
