Brooklyn Park Men Charged With Removing Siding From Community Center

Police arrested two men on the scene of a reported burglary.

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men after finding them on the scene of a reported burglary in Brooklyn Park early Saturday.

Shortly before 2 a.m., police responded to the Arundel Village Community Center, on the 700 block of Cross Street, for a report of suspects stripping the siding and gutters off of the building.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area and found two suspects on the scene with the stripped metal and a burglary tool.

Police arrested William Adam White, 18, and Andrew Buddy Sherrod Smith, 27, both of Brooklyn Park. Police charged White and Smith with fourth-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft and trespassing.
