Brooklyn Park Stabbing Sends Man to Shock Trauma

A 36-year-old man was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for life-threatening injuries sustained in a stabbing, according to emergency officials.

An overnight stabbing in Brooklyn Park between late Sunday and early Monday left a 36-year-old man with life-threatening injuries, according to initial reports from the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

According to AACOFD spokesperson Keith Hamilton, an ambulance transported a man, whose name has not been released, from the 5500 block of Wasena Avenue to Shock Trauma shortly after 9 a.m. with serious life-threatening injuries from the stabbing.

The man sustained the injuries during an incident the previous night, according to Hamilton.

Anne Arundel County police have not released a statement about the incident or any possible suspects, but may release more details later Monday, according to a police spokesperson.
