Cheapest Gas in Town

After jumping in both Glen Burnie ZIP codes last week, gas prices in some areas dropped and increased in others

Prices in the 21061 ZIP code fell this week, dropping 10 cents from $3.599 to $3.499 at one gas station. (They jumped 21 cents the week before.) Prices increased 9 cents to $3.629 in the 21060 ZIP code after increasing 8 cents last week.

AAA lists the following ways to save gas when you're between fill-ups:

• Use cruise control when possible and maintain constant speed;
• Avoid carrying more weight (the heavier your car is, the more gas you use);
• Don’t brake or accelerate too quickly; and
• Keep tires properly filled.
