Christmas Morning Fire Displaces 7 Residents in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A fire Christmas morning displaced seven people in Glen Burnie, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department. There were no injures.

Firefighters responded at 8:30 a.m. to the report of a bedroom fire in a home in the 700 block of Delmar Avenue SE.

Fire was visibly coming from the home, but firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire to a single bedroom upstairs.

Five adults and 2 children were displaced and were assisted by American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
