Columbus Day: What's Open?
It will be business as usual for much of Anne Arundel County on Monday, though post offices and MARC Train service will be closed for the holiday.
Columbus Day is one of those slightly confusing holidays where some things are closed and others remain open.
Here's a rundown of some important institutions and their status for Monday.
OPEN
Anne Arundel County Schools - Students will be dismissed two hours early for a professional development day. There will be no afternoon kindergarten or E.C.I.Libraries

Metro (will operate on a Saturday 5 a.m. to midnight schedule)
CLOSED
