Crime and Accidents Dominate the Week’s Coverage

It was a busy week for police, fire and EMS officials this week in Glen Burnie.

The week began with coverage of over the weekend, with a fifth occurring in Linthicum. Of the , two led to arrests shortly after they occurred.

Monday night, on what would have been her 64th birthday as members of the Anne Arundel County Branch of the NAACP and the North Arundel Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., ask the police for answers and the public to help solver .

Friday afternoon a 91-year-old man riding a scooter on Hammonds Lane was and died from his injuries. Police are investigating the incident but said they don’t believe speed was a factor. Later Friday evening a motorcyclist who fire officials said was caused other cars to roll over. The motorcyclist and the driver of one of the cars suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
