Brooklyn Park: Accident
A car crash sent four people to the hospital Thursday night, according to Steve Thompson, spokesman for Anne Arundel County Fire Department. The collision happened just before 8 p.m. at Bell Grove Road and 10th Avenue. Thompson said that an 18-year-old woman and 55-year-old man were taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. Two other adults were taken to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore with minor injuries.

Glen Burnie: Drug arrest
On Wednesday around 8:15 a.m., police executed a search and seizure warrant at an apartment located on Old Stage Road in Glen Burnie. Detectives seized 17.9 grams of suspected marijuana (estimated street value of $358), drug paraphernalia and $913 in cash. Kamal Damir Shaheed, 20, ofΒ Glen Burnie was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A fight on Tuesday involving a Glen Burnie teen and his father resulted in the arrest of two Severn men on assault charges, according to police.
A release from Anne Arundel County Police said officers from the Eastern District responded to the 7500 block of Baleen Court around 3:40 p.m. for a reported fight. The 16-year-old victim told police some men showed up at his home to confront him about an earlier incident.
The teenβs 42-year-old father stepped outside and was assaulted by the men, according to police, and other family members tried to intervene. Both the teen and his father suffered minor stab wounds before the men fled the scene in a black Lincoln Navigator.
Police traced the Navigator to Maurice Davidson, 41, of Severn and charged him with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and use of a deadly weapon with intent to injure.
Officers also located the other man involved, Khilah Davidson, 19, of Severn and charged him with second-degree assault.
Glen Burnie: Drug and possession of firearm arrests
Two Glen Burnie men were arrested Tuesday night on multiple charges after police searched their residence on Griffith Road as part of an investigation into local drug activity. According to police, detectives seized 21 suspected oxycodone pills (estimated street value of $630), six marijuana plants, a 20-gauge shotgun, a loaded Colt .25 caliber handgun, drug paraphernalia and $416 in cash.
Tyler Andre Ernest, 19, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone, possession of Ambien, possession of a firearm with a nexus to a drug trafficking crime and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Michael William Alascio, 23, was charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm with a nexus to a drug trafficking crime and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Glen Burnie: Shots fired during attempted armed robbery
A 30-year-old Glen Burnie man said he was shot at after two men demanded money from him as he sat in the parking lot of his apartment complex.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of Shelly Road and Whitmore Court in Glen Burnie for a report of shots fired. They spoke with the Glen Burnie man who said he was sitting in his vehicle talking to friends in the parking lot when two men approached his vehicle from behind with guns drawn and demanded money.
The victim said he attempted to run away and one of the men fired his handgun, shooting a parked vehicle before the two men ran southbound toward the 600 block of Shelly Road.
Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to find the men or the guns used in the attempted robbery. The victim said the two men did not take anything from him and no one was injured, according to police.Β
The investigation is ongoing.
Glen Burnie: Strong arm robbery
A 21-year-old man and his 19-year-old girlfriend told police they were confronted by two men on Tuesday around 8:06 p.m. in the area of Allen Road and Carolina Avenue.
The two suspects provoked a fight, took a folding knife from the victimβs front pants pocket and removed the victimβs ball cap, according to police. Neither victim was injured. The suspects fled on Allen Road toward Heritage Hills Drive, but police were unable to locate them.
