Pasadena: Boating accident
The body of Glen Burnie man was found Sunday after witnesses said he jumped from a moving boat in Stony Creek Saturday.

WTOP reported that the body of the missing boater was found Sunday afternoon. The report said that Charles Ryder, 48, of Glen Burnie was found by using sonar and divers.
Authorities said that Ryder was out on an 18-foot Sea Ray boat with others on Saturday afternoon when he jumped into Stony Creek while the boat was moving. Ryder didn't resurface.

Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Chief Michael Cox said that the search resumed Sunday morning at daybreak.
Cox said that the call for the boating incident came in around 5:22 p.m. on Saturday.
Anne Arundel County Fire, Baltimore Fire, Maryland Natural Resource Police, Coast Guard and Maryland State Police searched Saturday for Ryder until nightfall. The search resumed Sunday at first light.

Brooklyn Park: Drug arrests
Police arrested three people and recovered drugs from a Brooklyn Park home with an estimated street value of more than $13,000 on July 27, according to a release.
Anne Arundel County Police said in the release that Douglas Lee Morales, 24, of Brooklyn Park; Robert Matthew McCrickard, 49, of Glen Burnie and Muriel Alberta Gouldin, 24, of Glen Burnie were all charged in connection with the incident.
Detectives executed a search-and-seizure warrant on Rene Drive in Brooklyn Park around 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Among the items reportedly discovered was a large amount of what appeared to be marijuana in plain view on the couch and detectives said they found two marijuana "growing rooms," according to the release.
Morales, McCrickard and Gouldin were each charged with the following: possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, possession of manufacturing equipment, possession of a gun in a drug trafficking crime, possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of psilocybin mushrooms and possession with intent to distribute psilocybin mushrooms.
Detectives also said they found 26 suspected marijuana plants, numerous marijuana manufacturing items (high power lights, power ballisters, timers, dehumidifiers, fans and exhaust systems), 12 bags of suspected crack cocaine, one bag of suspected powder cocaine, 13 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms and a Hi-Point 40-caliber rifle.
Glen Burnie: Motorcycle accident
A 31-year-old man was taken to the shock trauma center in Baltimore with serious, but not life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle accident near Dorsey Road and Aviation Boulevard around 6:26 a.m. July 27, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Frank Fennell.

Brooklyn Park: Stabbing and attempted robbery
A man was stabbed in the 5000 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park after a man tried to rob him, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday for a reported stabbing that occurred earlier.
Officers spoke with a 25-year-old man who said he was standing outside his vehicle wan a man approached him from behind, displayed a knife and tried to rob him. The victim said he struggled with the suspect and was stabbed multiple times in his upper extremities, police said.
The suspect ran from the scene heading east on Townsend Avenue and the victim took himself to the hospital where he was treated for injuries that were not life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.

Glen Burnie: Robbery
Two teens robbed a 29-year-old pizza delivery man in Glen Burnie Monday night, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the 300 block of Highland Drive for a reported robbery. Officers spoke with the 29-year-old man who said he was delivering pizza to the apartment complex. Two teens approached and punched him repeatedly before stealing his wallet, keys and an undisclosed amount of money. The teens then ran from the area.
Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to find the teens.

Glen Burnie: Robbery
Three teenage boys robbed a man after arranging to sell him a cellphone Sunday night in Glen Burnie, police said.
According to a police press release, officers arrived at the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie at about 11:15 p.m. and spoke with a 25-year-old man. He said he drove to the area to meet with a teenage boy he met the day before about purchasing a cellphone. The victim said that once he was there, the teenage boy and three other teenage boys approached and began assaulting him. The teens reportedly stole a cellphone and money from his pockets.
The boys ran from the area and officers searched the area but were unable to locate them.
Glen Burnie: Robbery
A 24-year-old man was robbed in Glen Burnie by two teenage boys Sunday night, police said.
According to a police press release, officers arrived to the area of Crain Highway and First Avenue in Glen Burnie at about 11 p.m. for a reported robbery. Officers spoke with the 24-year-old man who said he was walking on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near Linden Avenue when two teens approached, pushed him to the ground and punched him several times. The victim said the teens took a cellphone and wallet from his pockets, which included an undisclosed amount of money. The teens ran north on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and were seen getting into a small, tan vehicle and traveling north on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard heading toward Ferndale, officers said.
Police searched the area but were unable to locate the teens. The 24-year-old man suffered minor injuries.
Crofton: Fatal accident
After a two-car crash early Sunday morning on northbound Route 3 at Davidsonville Road, police reported a Glen Burnie man died and two teens in the other car were injured.
Monique Spriggs, 19, of Crofton was a passenger in a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Elizabeth Ramirez, 19, of Millersville, according to a release from Anne Arundel County Police. Ramirez reportedly only has a learner's permit and does not have a valid driver's license, said police.
The police report states that the Jeep was attempting to turn left around 1:41 a.m. from southbound Maryland Route 3 onto Davidsonville Road when it struck a Ford Crown Victoria on Route 3. Police said the driver of the Crown Victoria, 63-year-old Javaid Firdaus of Glen Burnie, sustained multiple injuries and later died at in Glen Burnie.
The teens were treated for minor injuries and released. Police said the preliminary investigation revealed no evidence that drugs, alcohol or excessive speed contributed to the crash.
However, police discovered that Ramirez was using a relative’s vehicle without knowledge or consent and the investigation is ongoing.

Glen Burnie: Robbery
Three teenage boys snatched the purse of a 65-year-old Glen Burnie woman June 27 as she stood in the parking lot of the Giant Food store located in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the Glen Burnie store shortly before 5 p.m. and spoke with the 65-year-old woman who said she was standing hear her vehicle in the parking lot when a teenage boy ran up to her and grabbed her purse, which contained an undisclosed amount of money, from her hand. The boy then ran from the area toward Ritchie Highway.
Officers later learned that two other young men, who witnesses said were there when the incident occurred, also ran from the area. Several officers, a K-9 unit and the aviation unit searched area but were unable to locate the teens.
Glen Burnie: Armed robbery
Two men robbed a 25-year-old man at gunpoint June 27 in Glen Burnie, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of Marley Neck Boulevard and Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard for a reported armed robbery. Officers spoke to the 25-year-old man who said he was robbed at gunpoint by two men in the backyard of a residence in the 100 block of Queen Anne Road. The victim said he was there to meet with one of the suspects, whom he knew. While he was there, one of the suspects displayed a shotgun and the other suspect demanded money. The victim said he complied and gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspects, who ran toward the dead end of Highland Road.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the men.

Glen Burnie: Armed Robbery
Three men robbed a Glen Burnie Taco Bell at gunpoint July 26, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the Taco Bell located in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway for a reported armed robbery and spoke with several employees who said two men went into the store with one displaying a handgun and demanding money. The cashier gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspects who then ran from the store and were last seen getting into a white Lincoln sport utility vehicle (SUV). The SUV, which had a third man inside, was last seen heading west on Ordnance Road toward Heritage Hill.
Several officers searched the scene but were unable to locate the men.

Brooklyn Park: Armed robbery
Two men robbed Pizza City at gunpoint in the early morning hours of July 23 in Brooklyn Park, police said.
Officers responded to the 5600 block of Belle Grove Road for a reported armed robbery and spoke with a man who said he was closing the store with another employee when two men entered Pizza City. The men pointed handguns at the employees and demanded money and the victim complied giving an undisclosed amount of money to the suspects.
The suspects ran from the scene toward Belle Grove Road. Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
