Former Firehouse Volunteer Charged in Sexual Abuse of Minors in Anne Arundel
The man faces a list of charges including sodomy, sex abuse of a minor, and child pornography.

A man from Baltimore has been charged with multiple counts of child abuse in Anne Arundel County.
Anne Arundel County police arrested Preston Lamont Scott II, 31, of Pennsylvania Avenue in Baltimore, was charged with sexually abusing two children known to him over six years.
The abuse took place in Anne Arundel County, but further information was not given on the victims, including their age, police spokesman Justin Mulcahy said.
The county police's Major Crimes Unit began investigating Scott in August, according to a press release.
Scott is charged with the following:
- Multiple counts of second-degree child abuse
- Sex abuse of a minor
- First, second, third and fourth-degree sex offenses
- Perverted practice
- Sodomy
- Child pornography filming sex act
"At this time, there is no information that Scott had inappropriate contact with any child attending these dances. The leadership of the Ferndale Volunteer Fire Department is aware of Scott’s arrest and has been cooperative with the Police Department," according to the press release.
Scott is being held on $22 million bond at the Anne Arundel County Detention Center.
