Medical Marijuana Growers, Processors Picked by Maryland Officials

More than two dozen companies from across Maryland were selected Monday as potential growers and processors of medial marijuana in the state, the first big step toward dispensing the drug for sufferers of epilepsy and other ailments.

A Sprint cellular service outage that has struck the Washington, DC, area includes Montgomery County as well, hindering users' access to 911 service, according to an alert sent by the county.
