Men Flee From Would-Be Robbers in Brooklyn Park
Two people escaped from men who were trying to rob them, according to police.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, a vehicle with three men inside approached two men on the 300 block of Townsend Ave. in Brooklyn Park. One of the men in the back seat pointed a handgun at the victims and demanded money.
The victims then fled on foot through the surrounding neighborhood, escaping the suspects.
Police described the vehicle as a newer-model, black, four-door Buick.
