Photo Gallery: Denver Clyde Signs with Chesapeake College
The North County basketball standout signed to play at the junior college on the Eastern Shore.
Damon Nichols, head women's basketball coach at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD, traveled to Glen Burnie Friday to sign girls' basketball standout .
Clyde, 17, will go to the Eastern Shore to play basketball for the junior college, hopefully transferring later to a four-year school.
"She's good and she's got the grades and the SAT score," said North County girls' basketball head coach Al Pindell.

Clyde's parents, David and Carol, said they were very proud of their daughter not only for getting signed to play basketball, but for going to college.
"She's first generation," David Clyde said.

Denver Clyde will play in the Maryland versus Pennsylvania All-Star Game Saturday in Middletown, PA. She led the Anne Arundel County conference in scoring, rebounds and blocked shots, Pindell said. According to Max Preps, she is the second leading scorer in the Maryland 4A division and sixth in the state of Maryland.
