Police Arrest One Suspect, Seek Others in Armed Home Invasion

The following information was supplied by the Anne Arundel County police department.

Anne Arundel County police say an early morning home invasion on Tuesday resulted in the arrest ofย a 17 year old from Glen Burnie, and investigators are seeking four additional suspects.

Shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to the 100 block of Southbridge Drive after receiving a report of a home invasion robbery earlier that morning, according to police.

The victims told police that at about 2 a.m. Tuesday, five men wearing masks displayed a gun and forced entry into the apartment. The suspects took money and other property from the residence and fled on foot, leaving no victims injured, police said.

Detectives investigated the incident and arrested one suspect. Police are still working to identify the remaining four suspects.

Terance Johnson Jr., 17, of Glen Burnie, is being charged as an adult with multiple counts of armed robbery, robbery, false imprisonment, reckless endangerment, first- and second-degree assault, and theft.
