Police: Attempted Burglar Killed in Glen Burnie
Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Glen Burnie early Tuesday.

A suspect is dead after allegedly attempting to burglarize a business in Glen Burnie on Tuesday morning, according to Anne Arundel County police.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police responded to Arundel Coin and Collectibles, on the 7400 block of Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. for a report of a possibly fatal shooting.
A preliminary investigation suggests a suspect breaking into the business was shot and killed, according to Lt. John McAndrew, with Anne Arundel police.
Investigators from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner were on the scene, and detectives from the Anne Arundel County homicide unit were investigating the incident, according to McAndrews.
Police did not release information about the suspect's identity and no charges have been filed.
