Police Charge 2 After Bank Robbery, Car Chase and Crash

Police arrested a pair from Fort Washington in connection with a robbery of a PNC Bank in Glen Burnie on Wednesday.

Anne Arundel County police charged two people from Fort Washington in connection with a bank robbery on Wednesday in Glen Burnie and a car chase that resulted in a crash that injured both suspects, according to a department press release.

At around 2 p.m., a man entered the PNC Bank, on the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway, and passed a note to a teller announcing a robbery. The suspect then left with cash, according to police.

The department broadcast a description of the suspect, including details of his multi-colored shirt, and a responding officer noticed a man in a green Buick matching the suspect description. Police said a woman was driving the vehicle as the man changed his shirt.

The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to pull over and committed "numerous" traffic violations attempting to elude police. The vehicle stopped after an accident in the area of Route 3 South and Cronson Boulevard, in Crofton, approximately 14 miles from the PNC Bank where the robbery took place.

Emergency crews transported both suspects to area hospitals for treatment of
non-life threatening injuries, according to the release.

Police charged Rodney Scott Bush, 46, with armed robbery, robbery, second-degree assault, theft and drug possession. Police charged Jacqueline Wilhelmina Isaacs, 55, with several traffic violations, including reckless driving, failure to obey traffic signals and eluding police.
