Police Confiscate $2K Worth of Marijuana from Brooklyn Park Home

Police arrested a Brooklyn Park woman after carrying out a warrant.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Brooklyn Park woman after confiscating more than $2,000 worth of marijuana from a residence while carrying out a drug warrant Thursday night.

At approximately 10 p.m. Thursday, narcotics officers entered a residence on the 300 block of West Riverview Road and found 27 bags of drugsโ€”totaling almost 72 grams of "high grade" marijuanaโ€”along with drug paraphernalia and $1,040 in cash, according to police.

The street value of the marijuana is estimated at $2,155, according to police.

Officers arrested Angelina Shiflett, 26, who lives in the residence. Police charged Shiflett with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Maryland judiciary documents.
