Police: Fight Leads to Stabbing in Linthicum

One man was injured from a stabbing after a fight in Linthicum, according to police.

Officers arrested a Linthicum man after he stabbed a man during an altercation Thursday night, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Officers responded to the 100 block of 4th Avenue SW in Linthicum shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, and found the victim suffering from a stab wound to an upper extremity. Witnesses said that the suspect was inside the residence and police arrested Leonard Clifton Davis, 30, of Linthicum.

Police said the initial investigation suggests the men were having a verbal altercation outside of the residence when Davis stabbed the victim.

Police charged Davis with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

A medical crew transported the victim to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
