Police arrested two people after a drug bust on Thursday.
Anne Arundel County police arrested two people after seizing crack cocaine and marijuana during a drug bust at a Glen Burnie home on Thursday.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers from the department's narcotics team and patrol unit carried out a drug warrant at a residence on the 200 block of Scotts Manor Drive.
Police said that as officers entered the home, they found a suspect flushing several baggies of cocaine down the toilet. Police seized four baggies of crack cocaine, totaling 1.85 grams, and 5.21 grams of marijuana. They also seized $417 in cash, a scale and packing material consistent with a distribution operation.
Officers arrested Patrick Thomas Craig, 24, and Tessa Day Campbell, 26, both of Glen Burnie, and charged them each with possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance not marijuana, possession of marijuana and two counts of possessing paraphernalia.
Police also applied for a warrant for a third person at the residence, but did not specify the reason.
