Police arrested an Annapolis man Wednesday night after the robbery of a Glen Burnie gas station led to a foot chase, according to Anne Arundel County police. Shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, a man entered the Shell Gas Station on the 100 block of Mountain Road, demanded money from the clerk and took cash, according police. Arriving officers received a description of the suspect and located the man walking in the area. After a short foot chase, officers arrested him. Police arrested Branden Pearmon, 21, of Annapolis, and the department said an investigation is ongoing. Police charged Pearmon with robbery and theft, according to Maryland Judiciary documents.
