Police Seek Help Locating Man in Connection With Robbery of Linthicum BP

Police are trying to locate a man who they believe robbed the gas station at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County Police released surveillance camera photos of a man they believe robbed a Linthicum BP gas station at gunpoint Friday afternoon.

The man is described as being white, about 35 years old, standing about 5 feet 10 inches, being average build and having a dark goatee, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 7000 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Linthicum at about 12:20 p.m. for a reported armed robbery.

Once on the scene, officers spoke with the clerk who said that a man entered the store, approach him, pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The clerk said he complied and the man took and undisclosed amount of cash from the register and ran from the scene heading south toward the Burwood Village Plaza.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to find the man, police said.
