Police Seek Help Locating Man in Connection With Robbery of Royal Farms

The man is a suspect in the Sunday robbery of the store located in the 200 block of Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie.

A man robbed the Royal Farms store located on the 200 block of Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie Sunday, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the store shortly after 1 p.m. for a reported robbery. Officers spoke with the cashier who said a man entered the store, brought a drink to the counter and requested a pack of cigarettes before showing the cashier a handwritten note asking for all of the money from the register to be placed into a bag. The cashier told police that the man also told him verbally to put all the money in a bag.

The cashier said the man had a long, black object under a black cloth in his hands that was believed to be an unknown type of weapon and gave the man an undisclosed amount of money. The man then ran from the scene toward Colonial Square Apartments.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the man.
