Police Seek Information in Armed Robbery of Shell Station

Officers are calling on the public to help identify the man seen in photos taken at the gas station on the 300 block of Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie.

Police are calling on the public to help them identify the man who was photographed robbing the Shell gas station located in the 300 block of Hospital Drive Sunday at gunpoint.

The man was described as being white, in his early to mid 20’s, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150-170 pounds and clean shaven.

Police arrived at about 9:33 p.m. and spoke with a 31-year-old store clerk who said a man entered the store, displayed a shotgun and demanded money. The clerk said he complied by giving the man an undisclosed amount of money and then he fled the area on foot, according to police.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate the man, police said.
